How do you manage a graceful shutdown for your homelabs when there’s a power outage and you may not be at home?

There are solutions to this right now like using NUT if you have a supporting UPS. But battery backups of UPS are not too good and higher capacity UPS maybe just way too costly to get here.
I have also not found a perfect solution for this, I feel like there needs to be a solution via HA or some other kind of automation work flow.

If you have a dumb UPS, this is a nice and safe product to detect a power outage paired with a phone charger. Besides this approach, I also made this project to use an old laptop always connected to its charger to signal a shutdown/wakeup.
