What do you use or have heard of for building a personal blog/website for self publishing or as a portfolio. something that can support comments/feedback and interactivity so no static websites.
I’m familiar with wordpress as a popular solution that i’ve tried and hubzilla that i’m currently using. Your recommendations?

Ghost CMS has added support for having comments/discussion about the blog. Ghost comments are now built into the app
Wordpress seems too bulky and just too much for a personal blog, dont you think?
so no static websites
It is possible for static websites to have a comment section, giscus can do this (only downside is that you need a GitHub account to comment).
